Terms and conditions

Reservations and terms of service

The terms and conditions outlined below, including the reservation form and all written documents such as emails exchanged between the client and Chile Nativo Ltda., constitute an agreement between the parties and, therefore, are the terms of the contract. If the client makes a reservation by phone or online, it will be considered that they have read the terms and conditions and agree to them.

Reservation payment

To formally reserve a trip with Chile Nativo LTDA, each person must provide:

-An initial deposit of 25% of the tour cost

-Completed forms: (Click the following link)

Contact and health form liability waiver

Final payment

The balance of the trip cost must be paid 70 days before the start of the trip.

Your reservation with Chile Nativo LTDA will not be confirmed until Chile Nativo LTDA has received the initial 25% deposit. Once the deposit and forms are received, we will issue a final invoice showing the total cost of the trip and the remaining balance.

When a trip is booked less than 70 days before the start date, it is considered a last-minute reservation, and 100% of the trip cost must be paid in full within 48 hours to confirm the booking. Until the payment is received, the trip cannot be guaranteed, and changes to the itinerary or additional charges may apply.

Forms of payment

Online Payment with Credit Card:

Cancellation fees and refunds

All cancellation requests and applicable refunds must be made in writing, sent to Chile Nativo LTDA, and received by Chile Nativo LTDA. Depending on the cancellation dates, the following amounts will be refunded:

70 days or more = total trip cost minus a reservation fee of USD $200 per person for regular programs, or a reservation fee of USD $500 per person for customized private programs.

69 or less = NO refunds

Chile Nativo LTDA is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for a canceled trip. For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

  • The minimum number of participants paying the full rate is not met.

  • No cancellation payments or compensation apply in cases of Force Majeure, that is, unusual and unforeseeable events beyond the control of Chile Nativo LTDA or its subcontractors. These include, but are not limited to, war, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, terrorist activity or threats, natural disasters, severe weather or wildfires, environmental emergencies, and changes in transportation by airlines, ferry companies, or land carriers, as well as changes in third-party suppliers, etc.

Chile Nativo LTDA is not responsible for any expenses incurred in the preparation of a canceled trip. For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel cancellation insurance.

Travel Insurance

Chile Nativo LTDA’s trips take place in remote locations, where accidents can occur and, in fact, do happen occasionally, as well as last-minute inconveniences such as flight delays, lost luggage, or a simple ankle sprain that may prevent you from reaching the agreed-upon meeting point or completing your vacation. Therefore, we require all clients to have their own health, accident, and liability insurance. Travel insurance should provide coverage for the entire duration of your vacation, including medical expenses, injuries, death, repatriation, as well as cancellation and interruption. It is advisable to check for any exclusion clauses that may limit the types of activities covered by your insurance. Chile Nativo LTDA will act in full compliance during an emergency situation, but we cannot assume any responsibility for medical costs or evacuation costs during or after a trip. Get your insurance quote here!

Responsibility

Chile Nativo LTDA does not have liability insurance and cannot assume responsibility for accidents caused by the traveler, the horse, equipment, or other people or subcontractors during the trip. We require all our guests to complete and sign a liability waiver, which will be sent to them before the start of the trip. This form must be returned to Chile Nativo by completing it online at the time of the trip’s initial deposit.

Health Conditions

All our guests must be in good general physical health. A general health form will be sent to each guest to complete and sign; it must be returned to Chile Nativo through an online form at the time of the trip’s initial deposit.

Passport/Visas

All clients must have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 2 months after the trip’s departure date. All costs and fees associated with passports and visas for entry into any country related to a Chile Nativo trip are the exclusive responsibility of the client.

Valuable Personal Items

The operator is not responsible for any loss or theft of the client’s personal belongings, whether acquired during the trip or otherwise.
