About Me
I was born in Los Andes, in the Aconcagua Valley. Thanks to my work, I spend most of the year in Patagonia, but whenever the seasons come to an end, I always look forward to going back home, reconnecting with the people I love, and enjoying the place where I grew up. This life of movement, travel, and discovering new places is something I owe in large part to my mom, who always encouraged me to get out there, seek new experiences, keep learning, and dare to do things I never imagined myself doing.
The Best Part of My Job
There are two things I especially enjoy about my work. The first is seeing travelers enjoy a good meal, relax, and feel at home, as well as the cultural exchange that happens with every person we welcome at the Camp. The second, and something that truly makes a difference, is the bond we build with our coworkers. Since we work and live together, and all come from different places, we form special friendships that undoubtedly make every season much more enjoyable.
My Favorite Place in Patagonia
If I had to choose one favorite place in Patagonia, I would choose Villa Río Serrano. You always wake up to an incredible view, and I think it is one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunrise. Surrounded by trees and rivers, it is a peaceful place that feels very special.
A Fun Fact About Me
When I first decided to come work in Patagonia, I only planned to stay for two months to “experience it.” Things didn’t quite go according to plan… and here I am, still in Patagonia. And very happy about it!
