Challenge Patagonia in 3 days of adventure

Embark on a 3-day kayaking and camping expedition to the most remote corners of Torres del Paine and Bernardo O’Higgins National Parks. Face glaciers up close, paddle among icebergs, and navigate thrilling rapids on an adventure full of excitement.

This is a moderate-level journey, perfect for testing your skills with a team of experts guiding you every step of the way.

Day 1 - Icebergs and rapids: From Lake Grey to Villa Serrano

Our transfer will pick us up from the hotel in Puerto Natales and take us to Lake Grey in Torres del Paine National Park.

At Lake Grey, surrounded by nature and with views of Paine Grande and Grey Glacier, we’ll enjoy a snack while receiving an introduction to kayaking safety and paddling techniques.

Weather permitting, the first stage of our journey will take about an hour and a half across the lake and river, paddling among icebergs that have calved from Grey Glacier, sculpted by wind and sun into almost postmodern shapes.

Leaving Lake Grey behind, we’ll begin descending the Grey River, which winds through canyons filled with rapids and flanked by steep rock walls.

Accompanied by the stunning views of the Paine Massif, we’ll paddle 29 km to the confluence with the Serrano River. After another 3–4 hours of navigation, our first day comes to an end at Serrano Village, where we’ll settle in and enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

Day 2 - From Serrano River to Última Esperanza Fjord

Today we’ll cross into Bernardo O’Higgins National Park and reach the Última Esperanza Fjord.

Our day begins paddling along the Serrano River to Serrano waterfall, where we’ll carry our kayaks for a short portage of about 50 meters (164 feet).

Back on the water, we’ll continue upstream, flanked by lenga and cypress trees, with stunning views of Tyndall Glacier and the Geike Range. Shortly after, we’ll enter the waters of Última Esperanza Fjord, rewarded with the majestic sight of Serrano Glacier.

Day 3 - Homeward journey among icebergs and glaciers

At midday, we’ll set off on our return journey to Puerto Natales, retracing our route through Última Esperanza Fjord. We’ll stop at Estancia Perales for a well-deserved Patagonian asado lunch and arrive at our destination around 6:00 pm.

Note: Occasionally, access to Laguna Serrano may be blocked by ice; if this happens, paddling will not be possible.
