This 7-day journey through Tierra del Fuego takes you deep into a silent, remote, and untamed territory where nature remains the true protagonist. Travel at your own pace across vast pampas alongside guanacos and foxes, as the landscape gradually transforms into denser forests, rugged terrain, glaciers, fjords, and the majestic Darwin Range rising on the horizon.
Designed for travelers with a moderate fitness level, the adventure combines scenic navigations, long road trips, hikes in remote national parks, and visits to glaciers and secluded fjords. While some days involve long hours on the road, each journey is rewarded with access to remote and little-visited places far from traditional routes and mass tourism.
The experience is complemented by an authentic gastronomic journey, connecting you with the flavors and traditions of the far south. An invitation to slow down, explore beyond the usual paths, and discover one of the most pristine regions at the southern end of the continent.

Day 1 - Exploring the Volcanic Landscapes of Pali Aike National Park
In the morning, we’ll pick you up at the hotel to begin our journey toward Pali Aike National Park. After approximately 3 hours on the road, we’ll venture into this unique volcanic landscape for a 3-hour hike through lava fields, craters, and volcanic cones formed by eruptions that occurred more than 16,000 years ago.
Known in the Aónikenk language as the “desolate place,” Pali Aike surprises visitors with a geography reminiscent of a lunar landscape and preserves traces of human presence dating back more than 11,000 years. Surrounded by the vast Patagonian steppe, this remote park offers a unique exploration experience in one of the most inhospitable and fascinating territories of the far south.
Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to board the ferry crossing to Tierra del Fuego. Upon arrival, we’ll settle into our accommodation, enjoy a group dinner, and share stories about the adventures awaiting us in the days ahead.

Day 2 - Route to Lago Blanco
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set out on a scenic drive through the heart of Tierra del Fuego, making frequent stops to take in the vast Patagonian steppe and the subantarctic landscapes unfolding along the way. Our journey will lead us to Lago Blanco, one of the largest lakes on the island.
Its name comes from the clarity of its waters and the snowy surroundings that embrace it for much of the year. Framed by southern forests, expansive pampas, and gentle mountain ranges, this remote lake is considered one of the most beautiful and pristine landscapes in Tierra del Fuego — a place where Patagonian nature remains preserved in its purest form.
In the evening, we’ll stay at Hostería Las Lengas, where we’ll gather for a warm and cozy dinner before enjoying a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3 - Hike to Pietro Grande
Today, we’ll explore the landscapes surrounding Lago Blanco and venture into the subantarctic forests of Karukinka Natural Park. This remote territory preserves extensive lenga and coigüe forests in an almost pristine state, although marked by the presence of beavers — an introduced species that has altered part of the ecosystem. Even so, the forest continues to thrive, revealing the resilience of Fuegian nature.
As we ascend, the landscape unveils a striking contrast: on one side lies the vastness of the Fuegian pampas, while on the other, dense subantarctic forests blanket the southern mountains. We’ll undertake an approximately 4-hour hike to the summit of Cerro Pietro Grande (495 m), where breathtaking 360° panoramic views over Tierra del Fuego await us, showcasing the meeting point between the northern steppe and the southern austral forests.
At the end of the day, we’ll return to our accommodation to rest and enjoy the tranquility of this remote southern landscape.

Day 4 - Sailing through the fjords of the Darwin Range
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin a scenic drive toward Caleta María, skirting the impressive Lago Fagnano and venturing deeper into the remote landscapes of the far south. From Caleta María, we’ll embark on an approximately 8-hour navigation through Parry Fjord, surrounded by nearly pristine subantarctic forests where nature reveals itself in its wildest and most awe-inspiring form.
As we continue through the fjord, the landscape gradually unveils colonies of sea lions, seabirds, and a succession of glaciers emerging between forest-covered mountains. Sailing through these remote corners of the Darwin Range is a deeply immersive and silent experience, where towering moraines, drifting icebergs, and massive glacier walls dominate the horizon. The highlight of the day will be reaching the majestic Darwin Glacier, one of the most breathtaking and isolated landscapes in Tierra del Fuego.
Upon returning to Caleta María, our driver will take us back to the lodge, where we’ll end the day sharing a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue.

Day 5 - Exploring Yendegaia National Park
Today’s adventure takes us to Yendegaia National Park, one of the southernmost and most remote national parks on the planet. Yendegaia, meaning “Deep Bay” in the Yaghan language, protects more than 150,000 hectares of nearly pristine ecosystems where nature continues to evolve with minimal human intervention.
Framed by the imposing Darwin Range and the waters of Fagnano Lake, the park brings together an extraordinary mosaic of landscapes: vast pampas, subantarctic forests, fjords, channels, and mountains covered by ice fields, glaciers, and hanging snowfields descending toward the sea. This diversity of environments supports a rich biodiversity, home to lenga and coigüe forests, as well as culpeo foxes, leopard seals, elephant seals, and numerous southern bird species.
Throughout the day, we’ll enjoy a round-trip hike to explore this wild and silent territory, surrounded by some of the most untouched landscapes in Tierra del Fuego. At the end of the experience, our transfer will take us back to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6 - Visit to King Penguin Reserve
After breakfast, we’ll travel 3.5 hours through forests and pampas to reach the King Penguin Nature Reserve, home to the only colony of king penguins outside the sub-Antarctic islands. These charming, relaxed penguins will offer unforgettable moments as they preen and play in their natural habitat.
We’ll then continue on to the town of Porvenir, where we’ll explore the Porvenir Museum on foot. We’ll end the day at Hotel Barlovento, where we’ll spend our final night of this incredible adventure.

Day 7 - Visit to the Stromatolite Park
Today we’ll discover stromatolites, formations created by some of the Earth’s earliest living organisms. Those found in this lagoon may be between 10,000 and 12,000 years old, dating back to the Holocene. With only 14 sites worldwide containing active stromatolites, this park plays a vital role in their preservation.
Afterward, we’ll cross the Strait of Magellan by ferry, arriving in Punta Arenas, where your adventure concludes.
