Along the way we’ll also observe a wide variety of indigenous birds, such as Bandurias, Caiquén, and if we are lucky, Chilean Flamingos. Finally, we’ll complete a 4 hour round-trip hike to the summit of Cerro Pietro Grande (495 m), from where can see the stark change in landscapes between the pampas to the north of the island and Antarctic forest to the south.
