An adventure to the southernmost point of the American continent through virgin landscapes. This unique experience navigates through the choppy waters of the Estrecho de Magallanes passing through the San Isidro Cape Some where dolphins y sea lions can be spotted. Beautiful views of evergreens that reach the sea, grand mountains and hanging glaciers spotted on the horizon from Tierra del Fuego accompany you along this full day excursion. Hike to Cape Froward and the impressive the Cruz de los Mares (Cross of the Seas) monument towering 340 meters above sea level. Come along a journey that is packed with adventure and Patagonia’s breathtaking, natural beauty.

Itinerario
Día 1
Transfer – Navigation to Cape Froward – Hike to Cross Seas Monument – Return Navigation & Transfer to Punta Arenas

Our adventure today begins at 07:00AM from Punta Arenas. A private transfer will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation before traveling south of Punta Arenas to Punta del árbol where the journey begins. After getting equipped with life jackets we complete a safety briefing about the navigation. Boarding the zodiac boat the navigation begins to Cape Froward, the southernmost point of the American continent.
Our navigation takes us through the choppy waters of the Strait of Magellan passing through San Isidro Cape, Bahía del Águila, Bahía del Indio and San Nicolás. Pay special attention to the dolphins and sea lions that accompany us along the way. During our navigation, we’ll have spectacular views of lush evergreens forests
evergreens that reach the sea and grand mountains that accompany us all the time. Across the Strait of Magellan you can see hanging glaciers on the mountains of Tierra del Fuego. Upon reaching Cape Froward we hike to the Cruz de los Mares – the meeting of Atlantic and Pacific oceans. We walk up 340 meters to the cross which offers incredible aerial views of the water and far reaching fjords below. We’ll enjoy a snack at the top before starting our return hike back down to board our zodiac boat.
On our way back we will stop at San Isidro lighthouse to visit the restored building and some small show of ancient pieces.
Once we are back to our transfer, our chauffeur will take us back to Punta Arenas.
