About Me
Traveling and creating make me happy. I was born in Santiago, lived in Puerto Natales, and now I call Valencia, Spain my home. I consider myself a citizen of the world and share my adventures with Jupiter, my loyal dachshund companion. Recently, Borja, my Valencian husband, joined me on this journey after we met during my travels through the Mediterranean. I love nature and cherish every moment spent observing wildlife.
The Best Part of My Job
My purpose is to help more people discover Patagonia and, together with Chile Nativo, transform lives in this wild, magical, and pristine setting.
My Favorite Place in Patagonia
Cerro Benítez and Laguna Sofía—perfect spots for watching condors in their natural habitat, near Puerto Natales.
A Fun Fact About Me
The same night I was supposed to return to Chile, destiny led me to a heavy metal bar in Barcelona, where I met my husband. I spent a winter at -17°C in Puerto Natales, lived for six months in Turkey, and in Italy, a grandmother adopted me, teaching me how to make pasta and play cards. Each place has left a mark on my story, shaping me into the traveler I am today.
Interestingly, the letters of “Javiera” ,changed around, spells “Viajera” (traveler)… and that’s how I live my life.
