About me

As the founder, I am responsible for maintaining and developing the characteristics that make Chile Nativo famous: first-class service, excellent outdoor programs, and a continuous commitment to sustainability. I am eternally optimistic and an eternal fan of southern Chile, with its sublime landscapes, ever-changing weather, and unexplored channels and islands. My advice for traveling to Patagonia? Choose the shoulder season: spring, filled with flowers; followed by copper-toned, crunchy leaves, empty trails, and more stable weather in autumn. Aside from Patagonia, my heart belongs to Chile’s seafood, considered the best in the world (unfortunately, I can’t say the same about melon, I’ve never liked it!). Horseback adventures in Mongolia, traveling on the Trans-Siberian train, and exploring Vietnam and Japan are on my bucket list.

The best part of my job

Creating new experiences, travelling the world representing CN at different international fairs, and continuing exploring our beautiful Patagonia in search of unexplored places.

My favorite place in Patagonia

Estancia 2 de Enero (now Torres del Paine reserve), Lake Brush and Zapata Valley.

A Fun Fact About Me

I’m an auditor accountant and when I was 30 years old I decided to change my life. I took one year sabbatical to travel, and when I got back I went to work as a guide at Explora (1997!), and that’s how the best stage of my life began!
