Starting from the imposing Cabo Froward, you’ll travel to the southernmost point of the continent, navigating through waters surrounded by untouched landscapes. An experience that will immerse you in the full splendor of Patagonia.
Day 1 - Monte Tarn Hike
A private transfer will pick us up and take us for a 1-hour drive to the start of our hike, where we will enjoy a hot breakfast. Today’s destination is a historic site with lush evergreen forests, towering mountains, and abundant flora and fauna. During his exploratory journey, Charles Darwin was the first person to climb this mountain now known as Mount Tarn.
At our camp, we will have a brief informational session before preparing for our ascent. We will walk approximately 6 miles (9.5 km) to reach the summit, where we will spend about 45 minutes taking in the views and enjoying our lunch with breathtaking panoramas. We will begin our descent, overlooking the Strait of Magellan and the vast islands below us.
This hike will offer a variety of flora, evergreen forests, wildlife, and weather conditions typical of the region (wind, rain, or snow). Tonight, we will camp at a remote campsite by the coast.

In the morning, after breakfast at our camp, we will begin our kayaking excursion. We will prepare all of our equipment and go through a thorough safety briefing before heading out. During our excursion, we will have a zodiac boat for support, ensuring safety and transporting our food and gear to the rest stops.
After about 2 hours, we will arrive at the San Isidro Lighthouse, and continue on to Bahía el Águila. Once we reach the location, we will have lunch and visit the ruins of what used to be a whaling station in the Strait of Magellan over 100 years ago. After lunch, we will continue along the coast to the southwest, reaching Bahía del Indio, where we will set up camp. We will take some time to relax, explore the area on land, and try our luck fishing for our dinner from the sea. If we’re lucky, we can share our catch with a bottle of Chilean wine for dinner.
