Experience Torres del Paine
To undertake this journey, it is important to be in good physical condition and keep in mind that although each member of the group will walk according to their ability, the guide will set a pace based on the distance and available daylight hours.
Day 1 Bus from Natales – Laguna Amarga + Shuttle to Central Sector – Las Torres / Torres Base / Camp Torres
At 6:45 AM, we will depart from the Puerto Natales Bus Terminal directly to Torres del Paine National Park. Upon arriving at Laguna Amarga, the main entrance to the park, you will present your park entry QR code, which is included in your program. Then, you will board a shuttle heading to your refuge (Las Torres Sector).
Here, you will leave your backpack at your accommodation and have lunch before embarking on the first highlight of the Big Circuit Trek: the hike to the Torres viewpoint. At the top, you will be rewarded with the breathtaking view of the Towers. At this viewpoint, 900 meters (2953 feet) above sea level, the three granite towers dramatically rise from the rocky landscape, while a bluish-green lagoon at their base provides a serene contrast. This is the most exhausting day of the Paine Circuit, with demanding trails and varying weather conditions. Of course, your effort will be more than rewarded with some of the most breathtaking landscapes of Torres del Paine, experienced by very few visitors to Torres del Paine. We will ascend to the John Garner Pass at 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) above sea level. The famous Patagonian winds are strong, and the views of Grey Glacier and the still unexplored peaks of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field are stunning.
The trail now takes us along the glacier, ascending and descending through forests of fallen trees and beneath the towering, almost muscular granite walls of the Olguín Cordillera. As we approach Grey Glacier, we may witness an icefall o calving (where chunks of ice break off from the edge of a glacier).

At the suspension bridge over the Francés River, you can see the impressive hanging glacier that overlooks the valley. Our traveler’s experiences

7 Unforgettable days
Camilo is a legend. Chile Nativo has extensive experience and knowledge. I highly recommend booking directly through them. We were a group of 8 people who did the 7-day trek, and everything was fantastic. Thanks to Camilo, Tomás, and all our porters!

Wind, mountains and friendship
We really enjoyed our trip. The fact that there were very few visitors in the park made the experience even more special. The tents provided by Chile Nativo were of great quality, which we truly appreciated, especially on the nights when the wind was strong. Our porters always made sure everything was set up upon our arrival and packed up after we left.
We really enjoyed their company. Much respect to them for the work they did! Camilo was, without a doubt, the best guide we have hiked with in recent years. We feel privileged to have had the opportunity to trek through Torres del Paine with him. Besides being an incredible guide, he is a great person in every way. He genuinely cares about his team, the guests, and the porters alike, and even takes the time to help people on the trail when they need assistance.
His love for Torres del Paine, the mountains, and nature, in general, is very evident and adds an extra dimension to the trek. It means that he has extensive knowledge on a wide range of topics, not because he has to study them as a guide, but because he is genuinely interested in them and passionate about talking about them.
Camilo has friends everywhere and seems to know everyone. After spending a few days with him, it’s obvious that he is a trustworthy and remarkable person—and on top of that, he did an amazing job as a cook!
I would also like to thank Johana and Camilo for noticing that Saskia would be celebrating her birthday during the trip and for making sure to prepare a surprise to make the day even more special.
If we ever have the chance to return to Puerto Natales in the future, it would be to do another trek with Camilo.

More than a trip
We had a fantastic time, and Chile Nativo was very patient and helpful in assisting us with getting back home when the borders started closing.

Unforgettable trip and support every step of the way
I want to thank everyone for helping me achieve my lifelong dream of exploring the most beautiful place in the world. I especially want to thank Camilo for being an outstanding guide. He exceeded all our expectations throughout our experience.
It’s clear that he has extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to Patagonia. He was patient and made me feel comfortable and safe on the trail, which meant a lot since I’m not as fast as usual at five months pregnant.
He shared quick and fun anecdotes about the surrounding areas—pointing out mountain peaks, identifying birds and trees, and explaining the history of the region—which we absolutely loved. He was attentive and proactive about any discomfort we had (seven days of hiking without intense training led to some aches and pains), and he had packed plenty of first-aid supplies that helped.
He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable at camp, preparing snacks before dinner and ensuring we knew where and when we needed to be. He was truly a “rock star” guide!

The guide who combines passion and attention to detail
Natural, organized, and native. Our guide Camilo was fantastic—his passion for the park and the people of the region was evident. He was able to easily switch between English, French, and Spanish. He spoke with sincerity and from the heart, and he was also a great cook. The little details, like the extra coffee and mustard, were spectacular.

Clear answers, safe paths
I believe Chile Nativo is very professional and has a lot of experience in hiking. It was very nice to have guides and staff at Chile Nativo who spoke fluent English, so I could get answers to my questions.

I loved every minute!
It exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious and plentiful, the scenery was spectacular, and the hike itself was both challenging and rewarding. I loved the way it was structured: doing miles without the backpack on day 1, a short distance with the backpack on day 2, then a longer day on day 3 and an easier day on day 4, ready to prepare for the pass. I loved every minute of it!

A happy and unforgettable experience
Great itinerary, excellent guide with a lot of knowledge, and porters who were very kind to the group and assisted with all the needs. Very happy with the overall experience! I enjoyed it completely.

Experience and quality from start to finish
Chile Nativo’s service from the booking to the final drop-off was fantastic! It was truly worth it. We were a small group of 6 hikers, and you provided excellent tents and equipment. Our guide, Armando, was very knowledgeable and had a lot of experience in the park. With 20 years of guiding experience, he remained very professional and dedicated to our group, clearly passionate about the area. It is an incredibly beautiful place! I would definitely recommend Chile Nativo to anyone looking for an authentic and high-quality trekking experience in Torres del Paine.

Challenging, beautiful, and memorable hike
The hike was challenging but worth it. The scenery was outstanding and the reason we decided to go to Patagonia. The guides, Pablo and Fran, were simply amazing and made the entire experience so memorable.
I’ve done several hiking trips, and this was the first time I used a guided service. I’m so glad I did.

Excellent guides, and I would highly recommend them
It met our expectations and much more. Our guides, Mauricio and Fernando, were very kind, always prioritizing safety, and highly knowledgeable about the area. They answered all our questions with enthusiasm, were great cooks, and kept us informed about what was coming next.

Patagonia through the eyes of our guides
I can’t say enough about Mauricio, Gerardo (our guides), and the organization of Chile Nativo. We had a wonderful trip, everything felt extremely well-organized, and I always felt safe and cared for. Our guides made the trip feel special and were able to manage our group, which had a wide variety of personalities. They also did a great job explaining the park and our hike, helping us learn about Patagonia.

Dream honeymoon
Amazing! We went on our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have asked for more. The guides were excellent, especially Fernando—his knowledge, pleasant nature, and patience were outstanding.

Impeccable organization
Excellent hike, I enjoyed every minute. There were many companies doing the same trip, but I’m very happy I chose this one, as everything was straightforward when making the reservation, the itinerary details were clear, and I felt well taken care of.
